Never Too Much | Mad Catz M.M.O. 7+ Gaming Mouse

The original Mad Catz M.M.O 7 mouse was a hit when it was released in 2012. With 15 programmable buttons and additional customization that made sure it could fit multiple hand sizes, it was a gamer’s dream. Originally meant for MMOs, the customization options make this perfect for so many scenarios. Over a decade later, people are still scouring the internet to get their hands on one. I have seen them going for over 300 dollars on eBay.

Over a decade later, Mad Catz is giving the gamers what they want with some upgrades. The Mad Catz M.M.O. 7+ wireless gaming mouse takes things to the next level. This new iteration has increased the number of programmable buttons from 15 to 21 without making the mouse feel cluttered. There is also a dedicated shift button that doubles the number of inputs you can program. If you have different use cases outside of gaming, you can store up to five profiles for quick changes and adjustments.

The DPI for the M.M.O. 7+ can go up to 26,000, so accuracy is not an issue. There is an included 2.4GHz wireless dongle for a super low-latency connection. The internal battery lasts for up to 40 hours, but if you prefer to stay wired, a braided USB-C cable is included. Out of the box, the mouse felt great in my hands, but there is an included tool for those who may want to adjust the palm, thumb, or pinky positioning.

In a time when many gaming mice look similar, Mad Catz is working to stand out while providing functionality. The M.M.O. 7+ was built for MMOs but can be used for so much more. From productivity, editing, and of course, gaming, this may be the perfect tool to add to your arsenal.

You can get your hands on this mouse now for $149.99 over at the Mad Catz site.
