UGREEN’s Bold Bet: Building an Intelligent AIoT Ecosystem

UGREEN is Building a Smart Home Empire

For years, UGREEN has occupied a reliable niche in the consumer electronics market being the go-to provider of high quality chargers, hubs, and NAS solutions. I was given the opportunity to attend a private launch event hosted at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, for its next venture into smart home integration. This move signals a departure from its identity as an accessory manufacturer moving towards being an architect of the future of AI-powered homes.

UGREEN’s New Global Brand Ambassador

UGREEN is partnering with the New England Patriots with Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez as the face and its Global Brand Ambassador. UGREEN becomes the first Official Tech Accessory Partner of the New England Patriots.

During the football season, UGREEN will host product experience booths at four Patriots home games at Gillette Stadium, giving fans opportunities to get a first glance at the new UGREEN AIoT lineup. UGREEN is making a deliberate effort to connect directly with the community that has supported them for so long.

In addition, UGREEN will host a Patriots Watch Party in Boston on December 10, 2026, bringing fans together for a live game-viewing experience with UGREEN product demonstrations, hands-on activities and giveaways

The Architecture of Local Intelligence

At the heart of UGREEN’s new AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) strategy is a fundamental philosophical shift: the move from cloud-dependence to local intelligence. While the industry trend has been to push AI processing to distant servers, HomeAgent is designed to keep data, processing, and control within the four walls of the home.

This “local-first” approach addresses the two most significant friction points in modern smart-home adoption: privacy and reliability. By processing surveillance footage and voice commands locally, UGREEN eliminates the need for constant cloud uploads and the accompanying monthly subscription fees. Furthermore, the system maintains core functionality—including security and file management—even during an internet outage, positioning HomeAgent as a resilient utility rather than a fragile luxury.

The Tiered UGREEN HomeAgent

UGREEN is not offering a one-size-fits-all solution, but rather a scalable hierarchy of hardware tailored to different user needs:

  • The HomeAgent HA100: The entry point of the ecosystem. Powered by a Rockchip RK3588 delivering 26 TOPS of AI performance, it serves as a hybrid NAS and smart-home controller. Its utility shines in practical AI applications, such as the ability to search surveillance history via natural language keywords (e.g., searching for “a man in a blue shirt” rather than scrubbing through hours of footage).
  • The HA100 Pro: A significant leap in performance, utilizing the CIX P1 (CP8180) to reach 205 TOPS. This model moves beyond simple object recognition into “behavioral intent” and deeper semantic understanding, allowing for more complex automation rules. You can find the HA100 pro below.
  • The MasterAgent MA100: The powerhouse of the lineup. Built on the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000, the MA100 delivers a staggering 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS. This is an agentic hub designed for developers and power users, capable of running larger models and coordinating complex multi-device tasks.

Beyond Utility: The Emotional AI

Perhaps the most compelling aspect of the ecosystem is AI Highlights. Rather than acting as a passive recorder, HomeAgent analyzes long-term recordings to identify naturally occurring “meaningful moments”—family gatherings, a pet’s antics, or a child’s first steps. These clips are automatically curated into “Highlight Moments” and surfaced via the UGREEN Gallery E-Paper frames.

This represents a shift from functional AI to emotional AI. The goal is to allow the user to remain present in the moment, trusting the system to preserve the memory without the intrusive presence of a smartphone screen. The success of this feature will ultimately depend on the AI’s ability to learn cultural nuances and individual family dynamics; a high bar for any machine learning model.

Completing the Circle: SynCare and Uliya

With the help from Uliya, the system’s natural-language AI assistant. HomeAgent isn’t flying solo here. UGREEN is flanking the launch with the SynCare camera suite, featuring the Indoor Cam ID500 Pro, the Battery Cam OD800 Pro (shown in image below), and the standout OD600 Pro PoE Camera. The OD600 Pro is the real star of the show, serving as a blueprint for how UGREEN envisions the marriage between raw hardware and HomeAgent’s intelligence.

Spec-wise, the OD600 Pro is a beast, rocking a triple-camera array (4K + 3K + 3K) and a rugged IP66 rating. It handles the dark with both motion-activated spotlights and starlight night vision. But the magic happens at the software layer: when paired with HomeAgent, you get local AI processing for people, pets, vehicles, and packages. We’re talking searchable footage and automated event summaries—features that move the needle from “basic security” to “smart home hub.”

UGREEN also threw the OD800 Pro Battery Cam into the mix, complete with a solar panel for those “set it and forget it” outdoor installs. It’s worth noting that since the heavy-lifting AI features are gated behind HomeAgent, these cameras aren’t really standalone products—they’re components of a larger, cohesive ecosystem.

UGREEN Gallery: Giving AI Memories a Physical Home

The most underrated piece of this puzzle is UGREEN Gallery, an E-Paper Smart Frame. Rather than letting your AI-curated memories rot on a hard drive, Gallery actually surfaces them in your living space. It sounds basic, but in a world of digital clutter, it’s a genuinely elegant touch.

To round things out, UGREEN added a dedicated Smart Speaker for Uliya, giving the HomeAgent ecosystem a voice. When you step back, the full rollout is massive: the HA100 and HA100 Pro, the MasterAgent MA100, the full SynCare camera trio, the Uliya speaker, and the Gallery frame. By integrating these into the ecosystem, UGREEN is attempting to eliminate the “app fatigue” associated with managing a dozen different smart-home brands.

The Bottom Line

UGREEN’s pricing strategy for the launch is aggressive, offering “Super Early Bird” discounts of up to 50% off MSRP for the HomeAgent series, with pre-orders beginning September 3, 2026.

That brings the HomeAgent HA100 to $899 from $1,799 MSRP.

The HA100 Pro will have a $2,999 Super Early Bird price from $5,999 MSRP.

And the MasterAgent MA100 drops to $9,999 from $19,999 MSRP.

You can find more detailed preorder information on the UGREEN AIoT HomeAgent pre-order page to reserve your HomeAgent.

The other parts of the AIoT ecosystem is scheduled to join the Kickstarter campaign beginning October 27. This includes early bird pricing of:

  • $89 for the SynCare Indoor Cam ID500 Pro ($149 MSRP),
  • $159 for the SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro ($269 MSRP), and
  • $199 for the SynCare Battery Cam OD800 Pro ($399 MSRP).
  • UGREEN Gallery will have a $299 Early Bird price from $439 MSRP
  • UGREEN Smart Speaker for Uliya will be $69 from $99 MSRP.

UGREEN is successfully transitioning from a company that powers our devices to one that manages our lives.
