I am a huge fan of the work that Bloober Team has done over the years, so when the Cronos: The New Dawn reveal popped up, I was elated. Cronos is a sci-fi survival horror game from a third-person perspective. The game takes place between two time periods. You play as a Traveller who is tasked with searching the ruins of human civilization for key survivors of some sort of apocalypse. You will encounter creatures called ‘The Orphans’. These monsters are what is left of humanity. They can take different forms and possess various abilities. You can check out the trailer below to get a closer look at some combat.
Bloober Team drew inspiration from games like Dark Souls and Dead Space, but Cronos will have its unique flair. We get a small peek at this in the trailer, but stay tuned for more. As I stated before, I love the work that Bloober Team does. Cronos: The New Dawn looks to be something different from what we normally see.
