Preorders for the new Nintendo Switch 2 are underway. While many people didn’t know how to feel about the 450-dollar price tag, others rushed to lock in their reservations. A 150-dollar jump from the previous Switch seems steep, but the potential performance increases may be worth it. Current mobile PCs on the market with similar performance are starting at 500 dollars and in some cases, breaking the 1000 dollar mark. To some, gaming is becoming increasingly more expensive as time passes, and it doesn’t feel like they are getting more out of the deal.
Were you one of the people jumping to get their pre-order? Even though it seemed like many gamers were going to hold off, most stores have sold through their pre-order stock. Nintendo loyalists and parents will always be first in line when a new product hits the market. Do you think that the current price tag is worth the cost of entry? Take a look at the video below and let me know what you think.
