During Take-Two’s second quarter earnings call, Rockstar announced that Grand Theft Auto 6 would be delayed until November 19, 2026. Many speculated that another delay was coming. Rockstar stated that they want to deliver a level of polish that they think the consumer deserves.
As the game continues to get pushed, the higher I think the price tag will be. It is totally possible that this will be the first game we see with a 100 dollar price tag. While it may be worth the price, it will be a hard pill for many gamers to swallow. There is still no confirmation on what the game will cost. We will keep our eye out for that.
I am in no rush for Grand Theft Auto 6 to release. There are so many great games that have been released in recent months, and I barely have time to play them. I am sure that a few developers are a little frustrated with the delay. So many games have moved their dates to get out of the way of GTA. It will be interesting to see how the 2026 Holiday season stacks up.
