A few years ago, Xbox shocked everyone with the announcement that it would be publishing a Hideo Kojima game. Fast forward, and we get our first look at what we now know as OD: Knock. Gamers had no idea what they would get from this partnership, and honestly, in true Kojima fashion, that remains the case. When you add Jordan Peele to the mix, things get really weird.
Phil Spencer sent out a message on social media debuting this new trailer.
Original IP is essential to our industry, so I’m thrilled that the development of OD is in full swing thanks to the talented team at Kojima Productions and their creative collaborators. youtu.be/eHCqxLtwy5g

Jumping into this trailer, you instantly get P.T. vibes. You are in a room, lighting candles in a first-person view. We are not sure if the full game is in first-person or if this is just for visual effect. As the name states, you are hearing loud knocks, and then you are approached from behind by what seems like a giant of sorts. I will let you take a look at the trailer for yourself.
Kojima states that this would be different from anything he has done before. His games have become so unique over the years. I think this could be said about everything he releases. There are still no details on a release date, but we all know that we just have to let Kojima cook.
